Greenport Rescue Squad is looking for professional EMS Clinicians to join our team!

Greenport Rescue is the largest EMS agency in Columbia County responding to nearly 8,000 requests for help eac year with a fleet of 8 ambulances. We have a very active Medical Director overseeing our RSI and SCT programs. We provide staff with state-of-the-art equipment including Lifepak 15s, UEScope Laryngoscopes, Hamilton ventilators, LUCAS CPR devices, Stryker Powerloads and Stryker Powercots. We also offer the opportunity for our team members to participate in the NYS approved 100% on-line CME program. Weekly Payroll and 401K.

All applicants must be at least 19 years old with two years driving experience and a Valid NYS Driver’s License.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

EMTs perform various patient care activities in the pre-hospital setting, in accordance with established rules and regulations. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid BLS certificate. Please note, this position requires the ability to communicate with and effectively treat patients of all ages. Compensation: $25.50/hr, $28.00/hr (11pm to 7am Monday through Thursday), and $30.50/hr (7pm to 7am Friday through Monday) *Overnight and weekend differentials do not overlap.

Paramedic

Paramedics perform various patient care activities in the pre-hospital setting, in accordance with established rules and regulations. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid ALS certificate. Please note, this position requires the ability to communicate with and effectively treat patients of all ages. Compensation: $34.00/hr, $36.50/hr (11pm to 7am Monday through Thursday), and $39.00/hr (7pm to 7am Friday through Monday) *Overnight and weekend differentials do not overlap.
